From 2011 to 2024, she was employed at EFORCE Software in Providence, Utah, where she progressed from accountant to director of finance and ultimately to vice president of finance and human resources. During her tenure, she introduced a proprietary cash flow model that became integral to the company's operations and secured contracts that streamlined clients' software purchasing processes. Ms. Covington's earlier career included positions as a management accountant at UK2 Group (now THG Ingenuity Cloud Services) from 2010 to 2011 and as an accountant at MV Property Management Real Estate Co. from 2008 to 2010.

Ms. Covington holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University in 2008 and 2010, respectively.
