As the chief executive officer, he has been instrumental in national and international marketing, speaking at hospital sleep support group meetings to enhance CPAP compliance by using a noninvasive Chin-Up Strip to maintain primary nasal breathing, thereby preventing oral venting with CPAP and dry mouth discomfort. Mr. Miller has ensured timely fulfillment, addressed client inquiries and managed the company's website since 1998 with his son, John. His leadership has fostered customer satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to the company's recognition for sleep medicine.

Mr. Miller also served as the chief executive officer of Patented Putting.com, where he designed and obtained USGA approval of his patented topspin putter which is called "The Elmer Putter" because he would wear an Elmer Fudd-type cap during the winter months and his golf buddies started calling him, Elmer. In addition to socializing and exercising with golf, Mr. Miller honed his skills in business management and innovation. His journey into entrepreneurship began with his invention of the Chin-Up Strip in 1995, a product designed to prevent mouth breathing during sleep. This invention was inspired by his struggle with obstructive sleep apnea and now it has sold over 12 million units. Mr. Miller's dedication to improving sleep quality is further evidenced by his patent for a chin support member and nasal passage dilator in 1997.

Before venturing into the business world, Mr. Miller had a successful career as a personal injury trial attorney at Trembath, Hess & Miller SC from 1971 to 1988. His legal expertise provided a strong foundation for his later endeavors in business and innovation. From 1988 to 2001, Mr. Miller was a Registered Representative with New York Life which allowed him to use his legal background advising customers regarding investments and estate planning. Throughout his career, Mr. Miller has demonstrated an ability to adapt and excel across different fields, attributing much of his success to his ability to change careers and apply his legal knowledge to business.

Mr. Miller's academic achievements laid the groundwork for his professional accomplishments. He earned a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1971, following a Bachelor of Science in economics and history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1968. His education equipped him with critical thinking skills and a comprehensive understanding of economic principles, which have been invaluable in both his legal practice and entrepreneurial ventures.
