As a result of his expertise, Mr. Malka has earned recognition in the field, which is underscored by his membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Prior to beginning his own business, CDMedBill, he joined David W. Malka, MD, PA, in 2017, where he continues to serve as the practice administrator. In this capacity, he demonstrated a keen ability to identify areas for improvement within the neurology practice. Notably, he devised a more efficient billing process through embracing modern technology options and electronic storage—an initiative that led to minimizing waste and streamlining other practice procedures and policies, culminating in a comprehensive rewrite of the employee handbook.

As the business owner of CD MedBill, which he established in 2023, he meticulously reviews every claim from providers and nurse practitioners to ensure accuracy before submitting them to insurance companies. Mr. Malka's attention to detail extends to not only personally executing, but training others in verifying patient co-pays, confirming deductibles and ensuring valid authorization for procedures are obtained for ease and accuracy of claims processing.

Mr. Malka's career also includes several teaching positions, including a significant tenure as director of music ministry for the Diocese of St. Petersburg in Florida from 2015 to 2022. During that period, he balanced his administrative responsibilities with his passion for music, contributing to the church community through leadership and service. Now, he continues his involvement with the church as a volunteer. In academia, Mr. Malka imparted his knowledge as an adjunct professor of science at Keiser University, Saint Petersburg College, and as a high school science teacher at Sunlake High School.

Overall, Mr. Malka's time teaching allowed him to share his expertise in biology with students at different educational levels to help them foster a deeper understanding of the subject. Educationally, he holds a Master of Science in cellular and molecular biology from the University of South Florida, which he received in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from the same institution, which he obtained in 2014. Along with his degrees, he holds certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, further solidifying his credentials in healthcare management.

Looking forward, Mr. Malka aims to refine his skills and holds aspirations of advancing further in health care administration, where he hopes to continue effecting positive change within the industry and beyond. To work toward this goal, he is pursuing a Master of Health Administration at the University of North Florida, which he expects to complete in the spring of 2025.
