Since 2024, he has been responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, focusing on improving safety, quality, delivery, cost and people performance. Dr. Nunez has also been instrumental in developing new processes and systems to enhance and drive revenue growth. Moreover, he manages over 100 employees and is tasked with cultivating a Lean Six Sigma culture within the organization.

Before relocating to Florida, Dr. Nunez was the director of operations at the first manufacturer of lithium-ion battery materials in North America. During his tenure, his leadership was pivotal in developing new operational capabilities to support the entire U.S. market. Dr. Nunez also garnered success as the acting operations director at a global manufacturer of power and signal magnetic components, where he managed two manufacturing plants across Western New York and oversaw more than 200 employees.

Dr. Nunez's expertise in Lean Six Sigma and project management began at a Swedish manufacturer of fluid handling and heat transferring equipment, where he trained more than 600 employees in the application Lean Six Sigma principles to achieve operational returns on their projects and continuous improvement activities. Dr. Nunez's career began at a global manufacturer of consumer products in North America. His expertise in high-volume manufacturing and operational excellence was honed as a senior project engineer. In addition to his corporate roles, Dr. Nunez has ventured into entrepreneurship as president and chief executive officer of a freight company and e-commerce stores.

Becoming highly educated, Dr. Nunez holds a Bachelor of Science in business management, a Master of Science in management, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctorate in management and organizational leadership from University of Phoenix. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a well-recognized European organization. Dr. Nunez's dissertation and multiple-case study, "A Lean Six Sigma Approach for Engineering Companies," notably underscores his dedication to advancing operational excellence.

Dr. Nunez's commitment to professional development is evident through his membership in industry-related organizations, such as the Project Management Institute. He is also active with the University of Phoenix Alumni Association.

In light of his early success, Dr. Nunez received an Operations Excellence Award for his contributions to the design and implementation of high-volume manufacturing of consumer products. He plans to create a consulting firm focused on Lean Six Sigma practices for small-to-medium enterprises. This venture will provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure effective implementation and higher levels of operational performance without unnecessary complexity.
