Prior to his current position, Mr. Boladian dedicated 32 years to DTE Energy, where he served as director from 1991 to 2023. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership during his tenure, receiving numerous awards such as the DTE Leader of the Year in 2018 and the Alex Dow Award in 2003. His efforts contributed significantly to DTE's ranking as number five on the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's 2023 Utility Energy Efficiency Scorecard. Additionally, under his guidance, DTE received the Energy Star Excellence Award in Energy Efficiency-Partner of the Year from the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 2022 and 2023.

Mr. Boladian's career began in media sales as a representative for NBC/Media Broadcasting/Westwood One from 1988 to 1991. Before that, he honed his skills as an account executive at Ross Roy Advertising from 1984 to 1988. His diverse background across industries has equipped him with a unique perspective on business operations and development.

In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Boladian has been active in several industry-related organizations. He serves on the board of directors for the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, Detroit 2030 District, and is currently on the board of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. His civic engagement extends to being a member of the board of directors for Michigan Saves, reflecting his commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Mr. Boladian's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Michigan State University, earned in 1984. He enhanced his expertise with a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from DTE Energy. These academic achievements have shaped his approach to leadership and operational management.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Boladian, who was born in Detroit, enjoys playing golf and skiing.
