Ms. Marx is a distinguished art and interior design professional, serving as the President and lead designer at Interior Decorating International, Inc., dba ID-ology Interiors. Her expertise in creating spaces that reflect her clients' personalities and preferences has earned her recognition and praise. Before launching her company, Ms. Marx held diverse roles across various industries. She began her professional path as a staff member in the News Department at the British Broadcasting Corporation in New York City and London from 1966 to 1967. She transitioned into several other roles, including as a television and film critic for Peter M. Robeck Inc., which became a subsidiary of Time-Life Films. She was based in London, England, from 1968 to 1974, and then transitioned to cosmetics working in South Africa for Elizabeth Arden. Upon returning to the States, she worked as an executive assistant at the American Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, Connecticut, followed by a similar position at the Connecticut Grand Opera in Stamford.

In addition to her work in the Arts, Ms. Marx has made significant contributions to media and broadcasting. She was a producer and co-host of "Arts Alive" on Station WNPR-FM Radio in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She further expanded her media presence as a host, writer and feature broadcaster for "Reelin Round Your Town" on New Milford Cablevision in Connecticut. Ms. Marx's dedication to promoting British programming in the U.S. culminated in her role as the Fairfield County Film and Video Council director. Additionally, her entrepreneurial spirit included SUCH ventures as the creator and instructor of Dance For Figure Control in Wilton, Connecticut. She was a member of the American Society of Image Consultants, helping men and women develop their better selves. When she moved to Florida in 1993, she was co-owner of a local gallery, which led her to interior design. She has been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers for 25 years and was the first vice president of IDS (Interior Design Society) Naples Chapter.

Ms. Marx holds an Associate of Arts from Centenary College in 1965 and an Associate of Science from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1970, winning the "Highest Achievement Award" at graduation. Additionally, she holds the Aging in Place Certification (CAP). These educational experiences have been instrumental in shaping her creative vision and success in interior design.

Ms. Marx's accomplishments earned her an ACE award in 1989, acknowledging her contributions to the field. She was on the design team at DCOTA (Design Center of the Americas) for eight years. She was a featured presenter at the Home Show as a color expert. She has also been featured in Deco Drive and various local magazines and newspapers, highlighting her impact on the design industry.

Reflecting on her diverse experiences in television, fashion, interior design and fitness, Ms. Marx emphasizes the importance of continuous learning.
