She is also proud of receiving the Hanenberg Award in Printmaking from Stanford University.

Ms. Swett's career began as a teacher and artist at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1990 to 1993, where she honed her creative skills and passion for education. She then transitioned to Macromedia in San Francisco, serving as a quality assurance engineer from 1993 to 1995. Her role evolved into a usability engineer in 1995, after which she played a pivotal role in developing innovative software solutions.

In 1999, Ms. Swett joined Quokka Sports as a senior experience architect, where she contributed to enhancing user experiences until 2001. Her expertise in user experience design was further solidified during her tenure as founder and principal UX designer at J. Chrisman & Associates from 2000 to 2004. The following year, she became an investor with BNS Real Estate.

Ms. Swett's academic journey laid the foundation for her successful career. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1993 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stanford University in 1989. Her time as a student at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1986 further enriched her artistic perspective.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Swett is actively involved in civic organizations and philanthropic efforts. She has served as a board member for the St. Francis Sailing Foundation since 2019 and has been a fundraiser for the True Blue Fund at Mark Day School since 2016. Her previous roles include community ambassador for the Interaction Design Foundation and fundraiser for the Special Gifts Committee at Stanford University.

In her personal life, Ms. Swett enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children.
