Her early career included positions such as head of HR at AC Yule & Son Ltd and compensation and benefits adviser at Abrdn plc. She also served as head of HR at Cosalt Offshore Group Limited and as UK and overseas payroll specialist at M-I SWACO.

Ms. Yackiminie's academic background includes a Master of Science in human resource management from Robert Gordon University in 2013 and a diploma from Kincorth Academy in 2000. She holds several certifications, including a senior certified professional from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a diploma of education in neuro-linguistic programming from Leeds University Business School. Her diverse career experiences have shaped her into an effective HR business partner, with her early roles in finance and sales providing valuable perspectives.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Yackiminie is actively involved in civic organizations.
