Before joining Owning, Mr. Ross played a pivotal role in the success of Guaranteed Rate Affinity (GRA), where he was instrumental in scaling the company into one of the nation's top 15 mortgage lenders. As senior vice president of business strategy and strategic initiatives from 2018 to 2024, he spearheaded large-scale operational improvements, led recruiting and sales strategy and drove initiatives that enhanced cultural engagement, team performance and company growth.

Previously, as vice president of business optimization with GRA, he focused on talent development, process optimization and cultural transformation, helping maintain executive team stability and foster a high-performance workplace.

From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Ross served as director of business optimization at Guaranteed Rate Inc., where he honed his expertise in operational risk management, process improvements and strategic sales support for the direct-to-consumer mortgage banking division. His leadership in these roles helped streamline business processes, enhance customer experience and boost overall efficiency.

Before stepping into his executive roles, Mr. Ross spent nearly a decade at Quicken Loans, where he built a strong foundation in mortgage banking, business consulting and sales leadership. As a banking business consultant from 2013 to 2015, he worked closely with business executives to analyze operational challenges, develop solutions and drive process improvements across mortgage banking operations.

He began his career at Quicken Loans in 2007 as a mortgage banker. In this role, he worked directly with clients to help them achieve their homeownership goals, providing expert financial guidance and exceptional service. This client-first approach continues to shape his leadership philosophy today.
