His real estate brokerage career began at CB Commercial in 1980, where he was recognized as the rookie of the year for the both the Atlanta office and the Southeast region, and later as CB's #1 Atlanta Producer. Before this, he gained valuable experience working with the land department at Georgia Power Company, starting in 1970.

Mr. Branch's achievements extend beyond his professional roles. He is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS, where he served as president in 1991. His dedication to real estate education is evident through his involvement with the Board of Governors at Capitus Real Estate Learning Center. Notably, Mr. Branch was recognized by the commercial board for assembling the 1300-acre campus for LakePoint Sporting Community in Bartow County in 2011, which has become a premier youth sports complex, attracting millions of visitors annually.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English focusing on creative writing from Davidson College in 1970. Mr. Branch's personal life reflects his passion for sports and community engagement. Born in Atlanta, he played football during high school and college and continued playing rugby until age 32. He is married to Ginny Branch and has three daughters, Lisa, Amy and Ginny and two granddaughters, Virginia and Frankie.
