NEW YORK, NY, April 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samantha E. Burke, CPXP, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Burke is a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) dedicated to improving health outcomes by transforming the way healthcare is delivered and experienced. A distinguished leader in healthcare administration and public health, Ms. Burke specializes in urgent care settings, where she crafts memorable patient experiences through episodic care.
As director of patient experience at +MEDRITE, Ms. Burke leads targeted patient experience improvement strategies across 30 centers in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Connecticut. During her tenure, she successfully navigated the challenges of six-fold organizational growth, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Great Resignation, achieving measurable improvements in patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational consistency. Recognized for her signature initiative, the Brandies, she cultivates memorable moments for patients and staff by championing human-centric behaviors that inspire certainty. Beyond her primary role, she serves as an ad-hoc director for special projects, collaborating with public health departments on emergency response efforts, including rapid testing and treatment of infectious diseases and humanitarian relief.
Driven to impact health outcomes on a broader scale, Ms. Burke acts as the administrative director for the North East Regional Urgent Care Association (NERUCA). In this role, she partners with urgent care providers across the Northeast to advance health advocacy, education, and operational excellence. Ms. Burke supports the NERUCA Board of Directors and committees, while aligning regional and national efforts. As a strong proponent for urgent care's role in strengthening the healthcare system—by expanding accessibility, reducing costs, and improving patient outcomes—Ms. Burke works to integrate urgent care medicine into broader public health strategies.
Her commitment to improving care also extends to aging populations, where she serves on the Junior Board for the Alzheimer's Association's New York City Chapter, spearheading research initiatives on the Research & Advocacy Committee. Ms. Burke also engages her community by promoting awareness through educational programs as a volunteer Community Educator. Recognizing Alzheimer's as a critical public health issue, she contributes to advocacy efforts as an Alzheimer's Congressional Team (ACT) Member for the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM).
Prior to her leadership roles, Ms. Burke worked as a healthcare and life sciences consultant, providing research and project management to biotech clients. A dedicated researcher, she gained valuable experience through multiple internships, contributing to studies on Alzheimer's and dementia at Hospice of the Valley Gardiner Home Palliative Care Unit, biomedical research as a Helios Scholar at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), and shark research at Arizona State University's Morphology Lab. Additionally, her exposure to diverse healthcare settings, including emergency departments, burn units, and breast cancer centers, fueled her passion for enhancing the healthcare system.
Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from Arizona State University, where she graduated from the College of Health Solutions as a Barrett Honors College scholar. Ms. Burke earned recognition on the Dean's List and defended her Honors Thesis, "Bite Force Analysis of Leucoraja erinacea Skates to Understand Morphological Evolution of Different Cartilaginous Fish."
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Ms. Burke is an avid foodie and enjoys the outdoors, as well as spending time with her family and friends. Embracing change and radiating positivity have been cornerstones of her success, and she credits her family, friends, and mentors for their support throughout her journey.
