She holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Lindenwood University, which she completed in 2024, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater from Florida Southern College, which she earned in 2017. Together, these educational achievements have been instrumental in shaping her career as both an actress and an author.
Showcasing her leadership, Ms. Lord was a past president of Zeta Tau Alpha and is a member of Equality Florida. In tandem with her professional endeavors, she is actively involved in several civic activities that complement her other work. Along with volunteering as a teacher with the Collier County Library System, she also supports environmental conservation as a donor to the Save the Manatee Foundation and serves as editor-in-chief of "Ghost Light Lit," a literary journal she founded in 2023, which showcases diverse voices and creative works.
In her personal life, Ms. Lord enjoys writing, performing in plays and musicals, and rescuing dogs. In her work and life, she draws inspiration from her family, particularly her mother, whose resilience and determination have profoundly influenced her own path.
