Her journey began with a strong foundation in primary care, where she spent nearly 8 years honing her skills before transitioning to dermatology for the following 24 years.

In 2023, Ms. Fairfax founded her own practice, where she sees patients aged 12 and older, specializing in acne treatment and general dermatology. Her dedication to patient care is evident as she continues to serve multiple generations of families. She considers gaining the necessary expertise and confidence to found her own clinic to be one of her most notable achievements.

Prior to establishing her practice, Ms. Fairfax served as a staff nurse and nurse manager at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for 10 years. Her commitment to excellence and patient care was further demonstrated during her tenure as a nurse practitioner in both primary care and dermatology. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to earn the trust and loyalty of her patients.

Ms. Fairfax's educational background laid the groundwork for her successful career. She graduated cum laude with a Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and was valedictorian of her nursing class at the Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing. Additionally, she is nationally certified in dermatology and gerontology.

Ms. Fairfax's passion for health care was inspired by her father, a radiologist, whose work sparked her interest from a young age. This early exposure fueled her fascination with the human body and its complexities, leading her to pursue a career dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Beyond her career work, she is actively involved in civic organizations, providing skincare supplies to struggling families and making donations to local sailing clubs, the Sierra Club and the Appalachian Mountain Club.

In her personal life, Ms. Fairfax cherishes spending time with her family and sailing and playing pickleball in her free time.
