Ms. Patel's career path is highlighted by key milestones and growth. She started at Thompson Dallas-Hyatt as a group sales manager in 2022, quickly advancing to senior group sales manager in 2023. In 2024, she earned a promotion to her current role as director of group sales. Prior to joining Thompson Dallas-Hyatt, she served as a senior group sales manager at Sheraton Suites Market Center Dallas from 2021 to 2022 and at Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown from 2018 to 2020. Earlier in her career, Ms. Patel held roles such as assistant general manager at Texas Western Hospitality from 2017 to 2018, project manager at Elite Hospitality from 2015 to 2016, and director of training and development at R.A. Rauch and Associates (2013-2015).

Ms. Patel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated in 2007. She is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, obtained in 2012, and a Certified Hotel Owner (CHO) from the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, which she achieved in 2010. She is pursuing a hospitality sales professional certification through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
