Ms. Johnson's leadership is characterized by a commitment to mentoring staff, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring low turnover rates through active engagement and participation in team activities.

Before becoming the University of Minnesota Physicians director, Ms. Johnson was a senior clinic manager from 2016 to 2020. She also garnered success as a clinic manager at the University of Minnesota, where she developed her management skills and contributed to the institution's growth.

Ms. Johnson's career journey has been instrumental in advancing the imaging services at University of Minnesota Physicians. Her most notable achievement included successfully integrating the university's health care facilities to cater to its athletes, ensuring they receive comprehensive care on campus. This initiative involved collaboration with key stakeholders, such as the chief orthopedic physician for the Gopher athletes and athletic trainers, resulting in mHealth being the sole health care system advertised at campus events.

Before being recruited to Minnesota, Ms. Johnson was a lead nuclear medicine technologist at Scottdale Healthcare, Honor Health, which is recognized as one of Arizona's largest nonprofit healthcare systems. From 2002 to 2011, she was instrumental in her role, laying the foundation for her future success in health care management.

Ms. Johnson's academic background includes an Associate of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from GateWay Community College, followed by an Associate of Applied Science in Anthropology, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Diagnostic Imaging, a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Business Administration from Rasmussen University in 2023. Ms. Johnson also holds professional designations as a certified nuclear medicine technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and credentials from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

In addition to her primary career endeavors, Ms. Johnson has shared her expertise as a presenter at numerous conferences and for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Beyond her professional achievements, she is actively involved in civic organizations. She served as the president of Buffalo Bison Cheerleading and volunteers with the American Heart Association Inc., where she has also been a coach for the Heart Walk.

In the future, Ms. Johnson aspires to advance into higher roles, such as vice president or chief positions, where she can make a broader impact beyond her current focus on imaging services.
