Prior to her current role, Ms. Herrera was the director of business development at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital for one year. Her leadership skills were further honed during her presidency at Prodigy Healthcare Management LLC from 2017 to 2023, a company she founded in 2017. Under her guidance, the company collaborated with surgeons and ancillary providers to streamline patient care processes and improve health care outcomes.

From 2019 to 2021, Ms. Herrera served as the director of client management at Winsome Health, where she focused on building strong client relationships and operational efficiencies. Before that, she was the director of business development and operations for ancillary services at Nobilis Health Corp. from 2016 to 2017. Her career in business development began at Mahler Health, where she was vice president the previous year.

Her journey through various leadership roles has been fueled by a passion for making a tangible difference in people's lives, whether by enhancing patient experiences or improving healthcare outcomes. She is also committed to uncovering and addressing the root causes of health decline.
