In this role, she manages logistics for invitees, athletes, referees and guests across 16 cities and more than 30 airports. Her responsibilities include negotiating with government agencies to secure smooth passage through airports. Her expertise in this field is further demonstrated by her previous position as senior arrivals and departures manager for FIFA from 2019 to 2023.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Sorrentino was instrumental in the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games as director of stakeholder services arrivals and departures from 2018 to 2019. She also served as a senior consultant for the Pan-American Games Lima 2019 during the same period. Her career highlights include her pivotal contribution to the Rio 2016 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, where she developed a remote check-in system for athletes and created the first fully electronic remote check-in system ever implemented for any Olympic Games.

Ms. Sorrentino's dedication to promoting leadership among women is evident through her co-founding of Women in Film and Television Brazil from 2010 to 2018. Her commitment to empowering women extends beyond sports into various careers, earning her recognition as one of the top 50 women leaders in Miami by Women We Admire.

Her academic background includes a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism from Faculdade Da Cidade in Rio de Janeiro, completed in 1993. This education laid the foundation for her successful career in logistics and event management. Ms. Sorrentino also completed a leadership course with Women in Football, which has further enhanced her ability to lead effectively in high-pressure environments.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Sorrentino is actively involved in civic organizations. She serves as an advisor for "Collective Visibility" and is a board member of Cultural Centro Brazil USA. Her contributions have been recognized with an award from the Civil Aviation Authority in Brazil. Additionally, she holds memberships with industry-related organizations such as the Top 50 Women Leaders in Miami and serves on the board of the FIFA Women's Network.
