Her creation of the Cyber Incident Response Resilience Scorecard offers clients a benchmark to enhance their cybersecurity defenses. Additionally, she has refined Social Engineering Adversarial training materials for military personnel and Department of Defense contractors, integrating them into Bishop Fox's Red Team Program Build service line.

Prior to her tenure at Bishop Fox, Ms. Denis was a senior consultant at Critical Insight, later acquired by Lumifi Cyber Inc., from 2021 to 2022, following her role as a cybersecurity consultant at the same company from 2020 to 2021. Her career in cybersecurity began with the co-founding of Dragonfly Security in 2017, where she served as principal consultant until 2020. During this period, she also co-founded PENGUIN, a VoIP phone service company. As the chief financial officer at PENGUIN, she focused on integrating advanced encryption and fraud protection to safeguard communications, addressing the shortcomings of traditional telecommunications in protecting users from modern cyber threats.

Ms. Denis' earlier career includes roles such as market intelligence manager at ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions, social media manager, online community manager and technical support manager at iMagicLab. She also held positions at Yosemite Title Company and Fidelity National Financial as a title examiner, department manager, offshore department team lead and title officer. Her professional journey commenced at AT&T, where she served as a retail sales representative, finance representative, and audit and compliance manager.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Denis is deeply involved in civic activities and mentoring within the cybersecurity community. She serves on the Global DEF CON Groups Board and is a member of InfraGard. Her commitment to giving back is evident through her volunteer work with DEF CON Groups and her participation in conference speaking engagements, including her keynote at CactusCon 2025 and an upcoming keynote at Layer 8 Conference 2025.

Ms. Denis' accomplishments have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the DEF CON Black Badge in 2019 and induction into the DEF CON Black Badge Hall of Fame the same year. She also secured first place with a Black Badge at TraceLabs Global OSINT Search Party CTF VI in 2020 and second place with a Silver Badge at TraceLabs Global OSINT Search Party CTF V in the same year.

As a thought leader, Ms. Denis has contributed to publications such as "Phishy Little Liars - Pretexts that Kill" and written articles like "Protecting Organizations from Customized Phishing Attacks" for Tripwire. She has also authored workforce insights reports for ManpowerGroup Solutions and was recently featured in both USA TODAY and International Business Times, where she discussed her career in red teaming and cybersecurity.

Born in South Africa, Ms. Denis enjoys spending time with her family, which includes four children. She attributes much of her success to the unwavering support of her husband, who has been a source of confidence and encouragement throughout her career. In her free time, she maintains a backyard with over fifty chickens and enjoys the company of her German Shepherd. Looking ahead, she plans to release a book focused on social engineering while continuing to lead initiatives at Bishop Fox and contribute to the cybersecurity community by fostering emerging talent in the industry.
