Before embarking on his consulting journey, Mr. Henderson spent several years at Whirks, where he made substantial contributions as the director of people services from 2022 to 2023 and human resources outsourcing manager from 2019 to 2022. His work included creating a comprehensive hiring workbook and leading workshops that transformed client experiences in the healthcare sector. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his ability to guide organizations through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines earned him widespread recognition. Mr. Henderson's service-oriented mindset and ability to lead through crisis were pivotal during this time, as evidenced by his widely read articles on transformational leadership.

A hallmark of Mr. Henderson's leadership style is his commitment to servant leadership—a philosophy he refined over more than 20 years of service in the United States Army. He served in multiple leadership positions, including director of operations from 2016 to 2019, senior human resources manager from 2009 to 2015, and chief plans and operations officer from 2014 to 2015. His military career, which was marked by numerous awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, instilled in him the principles of discipline, accountability and empowering others.

Beyond his professional roles, Mr. Henderson is deeply involved in his community and industry. He has been an active member of the Memphis Restaurant Association since 2023, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-Memphis) since 2019 and the Adjutant General Association since 2009. Mr. Henderson received a Master of Arts in human resources management from Webster University in 2017 and a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2009. He is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and holds an Everything DiSC certification from DiSC Alignment.

Outside of his professional work, Mr. Henderson enjoys spending time with his family, which includes seven children—six from his current marriage and one from a previous marriage. His oldest child, who serves in the United States Air Force, resides in Colorado. Mr. Henderson is an active volunteer at New Hope Christian Church in Tennessee and supports Trail Life USA. He attributes his professional and personal success to his ability to draw strength from both positive and challenging experiences, maintaining empathy while upholding strong standards of accountability.

Looking to the future, Mr. Henderson plans to publish his first book, "My Descendant Book," which will share the lessons he learned in the military that helped shape his leadership style.
