COLUMBUS, OH, April 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christina Charles-Beery, MD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. With over two decades of experience in the field, Dr. Charles-Beery has established herself as a trusted provider of obstetric and gynecologic care. Since 2003, she has served as a dedicated physician at Columbus OB/GYN, where her role involves seeing patients in the office setting, performing procedures, and managing on-call responsibilities for labor and delivery, antepartum patients, and performing gynecologic surgeries. Her commitment to continuity of care and building trust is evident in her pride in guiding women through life stages from adolescence through menopause. She strives to treat patients with the same skill and compassion she would want her family members to receive when they visit a physician.

Prior to her current position, Dr. Charles-Beery received a Bachelor of Arts in zoology from Miami University in 1995 and her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1999. During medical school, she served as the president of her class and was inducted into the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Charles-Beery then completed a residency in OB/GYN at The Ohio State University in 2003. During her residency, she was selected as chief resident and was awarded both the Resident Research Award and the Dr. Martilla Renee Jones Beatty Award (an award presented to the senior resident who, as selected by the junior residents, was most supportive in their quest for excellence in obstetrics and gynecology training).

Her residency training experience was pivotal in shaping her career, allowing her to work alongside her future partners while completing her training as an OB/GYN. Dr. Charles-Beery has been a member of Columbus OB/GYN since 2003. She is grateful to practice alongside her partners, to serve in a leadership role on their board, and to lead several committees. Dr. Charles-Beery also enjoys sharing her love of medicine and has been a long-term preceptor for The Ohio State University College of Medicine students and has taught physician assistant students from Ohio Dominican University and Baldwin Wallace University.

Dr. Charles-Beery remains active with The Ohio State University College of Medicine continuing to serve as her class president and reunion coordinator, and she served two terms on the College of Medicine Alumni Awards Committee from 2016 to 2021.

To stay informed on the latest advancements in her field, Dr. Charles-Beery is professionally affiliated with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the Ohio State Medical Association. Her dedication to fostering trust in the medical system is a testament to her passion for patient care. Additionally, she is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the State Medical Board of Ohio, underscoring her expertise and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Dr. Charles-Beery attributes much of her success to the mentorship she received during her training and the support of her family, friends, and partners at Columbus OB/GYN. She acknowledges her parents' role in nurturing a lifelong love of learning and providing access to a quality education, which has been instrumental in her professional journey. She feels truly grateful to be able to practice medicine and care for her patients and to still love her job 25 years into her career.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Charles-Beery is a proud mother of two children and civically involved in activities such as the Parent Teacher Organization and volunteering within her local community. As she continues to advance in her career, she aims to provide outstanding patient care while mentoring younger physicians as one of the now more senior partners at Columbus OB/GYN.
