DENVER, CO, May 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- American Professional Services (APS-Hoods) recently expanded the area in which it provides commercial hood sales and other services without charging an additional travel fee.
APS-Hoods now offers sales and cleaning of commercial kitchen hoods to businesses located within a 100-mile radius of Denver without charging them a travel fee, said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., an affiliate of APS-Hoods.
That includes all cities along the I-70 corridor from Denver to Vale, cities along the I-25 corridor from Pueblo to the Wyoming border, Greeley, Littleton, Centennial, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Fort Morgan, Windsor, Castle Rock, Evergreen, Parker, Breckenridge, Boulder, Golden, Brighton, and all of the cities in the Summits.
"There is an increasing number of Colorado restaurants and other commercial kitchens in these areas in need of our commercial exhaust hoods services," Farazandeh said. "We are a Denver-based company that can easily cover all of these cities."
Some restaurants may be cynical of the free travel and assume that APS-Hoods simply has increased the price of its services to make up the difference, but that isn't the case, Farazandeh said. It wouldn't be cost-effective for the company to charge more for its services, because then he would lose customers to his competition.
"Our business has grown and we have more jobs within this 100-mile area," he said. "Because of this increase in work, we can send out one truck to tackle several jobs at a time. That makes it more cost-effective for us, so we've passed along those savings to the customers."
Farazandeh said the change comes at a good time for restaurant owners and managers seeking ways in which to cut costs due to the sluggish economy. The change also means that almost every major city in the state can take advantage of the deal.
"This is a considerable amount of savings to our customers who will be paying Denver rates even if they are 100 miles away from Denver," he said. "Now we are a local company to them."
