Rachel Lynn Perez, RN, BSN, Honored for Excellence in Ambulatory Care Nursing

    MENTOR, OH, May 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rachel Lynn Perez, Ambulatory Nurse Clinician with the Cleveland Clinic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of ambulatory care nursing.

With seven years of professional experience, Rachel Lynn Perez excels in ambulatory care nursing at the Cleveland Clinic. At her current post, she is responsible for treating patients recovering from neurosurgical procedures, reviewing medical histories, consulting with patients and family members, overseeing home care services for post-surgical patients, removing sutures, and discharging patients. She considers attaining her present position to be the highlight of her career, and stays current with the trends in her profession by reading the Journal of Neurosurgery.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Perez was honored as the outstanding VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who in 2008. She is currently working toward certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, and earned her Master's Degree in Nursing from Ursuline College in 2008—an accomplishment of which she is particularly proud. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Ursuline College in 2002, and is a member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
