MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, May 31, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Only a few weeks remain until some of the biggest musical acts in the world descend on London for the 2009 edition of Hard Rock Calling.
Hyde Park, which is situated close to the wide array of London Hotels, will play host to the event between June 26th and 28th.
The Killers, who released their latest album Day & Age last year, are set to headline the first night of the event, taking to the stage after the Kooks.
Meanwhile, the Pretenders, Seasick Steve, Fleet Foxes and Ben Harper and Relentless7 make up the bill for the second day of the event, which will be headlined by Neil Young, arguably one of the most influential artists in US music.
Sunday June 28th will see the Gaslight Anthem and Dave Matthews Band take to the stage, before the three-day event is closed with a headlining slot from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
More acts are due to be announced closer to the festival.
Tickets are on sale now and cost 45 GBP for the day. A number of special VIP packages are also available and are priced at around 265 GBP. They offer guests reserved seating and exclusive festival facilities.
