Darryl E. Evans Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

    WOBURN, MA, May 30, 2009, Darryl E. Evans, Design Engineering Manager for Skyworks Solutions Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of engineering.

As a Design Engineering Manager for Skyworks Solutions Inc., Mr. Evans manages a dedicated team of Product Development Engineers including Design Engineers, Layout Engineers, Test Engineers and Assembly Technicians. Overall responsibilities include designing wireless communication chip sets using industry leading quality protocols, handling customer contact, performing cost modeling analysis and mentoring junior personnel.

Mr. Evans received his Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Massachusetts and his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Information Technology from Daniel Webster College. Mr. Evans is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; he supports the Special Olympics and the American Red Cross. He hopes to complete his MBA and become more involved with product marketing.

Mr. Evans has over 25 years of industry experience. He has held various engineering discipline positions at Skyworks Solutions Inc., Peregrine Semiconductor Inc., M/A¬Com, and RHG Electronics Inc.
