An alumni of the University of California, Ms. Garner received her MBA in 1989. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1982 from the University of Virginia, which she attended on a full tennis scholarship. During her time at U.Va., Ms. Garner became Captain of the women's tennis team, was declared Most Valuable Player and won three Athletic Coast Conference titles. Her professional affiliations include the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association and Milestone Capital Management, where she sits as a trustee.
