A world-class umpiring crew will be flying in from around the country to launch the inaugural Vic Voltaggio Umpire Training Camp. Mr. Voltaggio called pro ball for 24 years. Career highlights include being behind the plate on April 29, 1986 when Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens notched 20 strike outs against the Mariners. He also worked three no-hitters, including one by Nolan Ryan.
Voltaggio is sharing that wealth of experience in his August 7th Camp!
Attendee's will learn how to advance from little league through High School all the way to the NCAA. This "HANDS ON" training will primarily take place on the field! Attendee's will learn field mechanics from the seasoned veteran, Vic Voltaggio, and receive insider tips on how to become an umpire stand-out. The camp will also detail the politics of advancing in the 2-man umpire system. An extensive amount of ground will be covered in this 4-day event.
No other training camp in the country provides this caliber of learning for prospective professional and amateur umpires!
