MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, June 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- IT architects and developers who want to understand how to support high volumes of business transactions with their service-oriented architectures--either onsite or in the cloud--are invited to attend "Scalable SOA." This interactive, online class is being offered at no cost as part of the WSO2 SOA Summer School program. It will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific.
The two-hour Scalable SOA class will dig deep into the scaling techniques that can be used in SOA deployments demanding high throughput and reliability. It will cover a range of clustering techniques, including membership schemes; management of states, nodes and groups; and clustering patterns. There also will be a review of load balancing techniques, such as stateless and stateful load balancing, load balancing with failover, and dynamic load balancing. Additionally, attendees will learn what is required for implementing SOA in the cloud, including Amazon Machine Image (AMI) deployments and auto-scaling.
