Registration begins at 8:15am. The daylong workshop features three guest speakers and attendees can choose from six small group breakout sessions as well. Lunch is provided in the $15 registration fee as well as a binder of resources to keep. Advanced registrations are welcome.
The three speakers Rev. David Rhoads, Rev. Clare Butterfield, and Fr. John Surrette, SJ are set to discuss how Earth Stewardship is a local, regional, and global concern. After understanding the issues through a faith-based focus, attendees will participate in small group breakout sessions where they can get into more detail in their specific areas of interest.
Breakout sessions will focus on energy conservation, native plants, greening your worship space, fair trade, public policy and social justice. Each session will provide a chance to share your individual ideas and hear from others who are concerned about the environment. Attendees will also meet with exhibitors and non-profit organizations from the surrounding area to discuss what they are currently doing.
