Mecca Bingo Raises Cash for Whizz-Kids...With a Painful Leg Wax!

    LEEDS, ENGLAND, August 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mecca Bingo and charity, Whizz-Kids have established a partnership and will be working together throughout 2009 to raise money in the Mecca Wheel Difference Campaign.

Every month, Bingo Dave, the figurehead for Mecca Bingo is being set challenges to raise cash for the deserving charity. This month, he bravely had some very hairy legs waxed! Having a leg wax is a obviously a very painful process, but Bingo Dave braved it, swallowed his pride and had the hair sharply removed - all of course to raise money for a very good cause.

Bingo Dave's series of tasks throughout the campaign have been dubbed 'Dave Will Do It' and the painful waxing was the first of many more tasks that will help to raise money for the Whizz-Kids charity. Funds raised throughout the Mecca Wheel Difference Campaign will go towards providing essential mobility equipment, advice and training for disabled children and their families across the UK.
