STOKE ON TRENT, ENGLAND, August 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terrys fabrics are witnessing a huge increase in the number of customers using their interior design service, where Terry's staff work with customers to redesign or renovate the look of their homes. Due to the deep UK recession, it is thought that the majority of middle to high income households are taking a more measured approach to interior design, by cutting out the full time, costly professionals and using instore teams a lot more readily.
Terry's Fabrics believe the trend is set to continue, as such services are considered a luxury by the majority of households, and therefore an unnecessary cost that may have to be put on the sideline for a few years. However, Terry's do not see this as a negative aspect of the recession, as working with instore interior design professionals means that there is no need to compromise the look and feel of their home, even if it may need more "hands on" work from the client.
Terry's Fabrics offer the service in two of their warehouses, one based in Staffordshire and one based in Stockport, and are proud to have trained staff to the level where they excel in the interior design consultations they provide. Terry's also provide a regularly updated interior design blog on their website, giving out interior design tips to its 20,000 monthly readers. Topics range from general advice, room specific blog posts or item specific (blinds for example)
