STOCKTON, CA, September 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Toni Lee di Franco, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.
Ms. di Franco is the author of two books, "Chinese Clothing and Theatrical Costumes," published in 1980, and "Guide to Stockton," published in 1979. She donates her books to a local library and clothing to various charitable organizations. Previously, she worked for a government paid company that counseled Southeast Asian refugees with the assistance of an interpretor and helped people psychological needs. She has been retired for five years. Ms. di Franco attended classes in Hong Kong and took trips to South Asia and Vietnam, which inspired her to write her book. She attributes her success to her mother for instilling the importance of education in her.
Ms. di Franco received her Master of Arts in Sociology from Indiana University in 1965. She hopes to conduct research on Chinese textiles and pursue quilting.
