LONDON, ENGLAND, September 09, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It's official: the price of a pint has gone up again for Oktoberfest 2009. Munich City Council have announced a price increase of 3.8% from last year, with the average cost of one litre of beer 8.44 Euros.
The news will come as a blow to fans of the annual beer fest, with prices already hiked up an extra 5% in 2008. 6 million litres of Bavarian beer are drunk at the festival every year, believed to be the best in the world for its 'pure' mix of hops, barley and water.

So with late availability for group bookings in top Munich hostels, you'll have more to spend on all the fun of the festival.
