Taking place on November 14th, the event has a history dating back to 1215 and sees the newly elected mayor make his way through the city of London to pledge allegiance to the crown at the Royal Courts of Justice.

The journey is three miles long and begins at 11:00 BST from Mansion House, following an RAF flypast.

Around half a million people are expected to watch as the skies light up over the River Thames between Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo Bridge.
