BROOKLYN, NY, September 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Veronica M. Vega, Kindergarten Teacher for P.S. 198, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in early childhood education.

Prompted by a love of children, Ms. Vega embarked on a career as an educator three years ago. She is a teacher at P.S. 198, where she is responsible for teaching socialization skills and all subjects to 4-year-old children and preparing them for the first grade. Ms. Vega is proud to be associated with a school that works with parents to provide quality education in a safe, nurturing environment and offers a variety of learning opportunities to enable each student to realize his full potential. She attributes her success to self-determination.

Ms. Vega is currently pursuing her license in special education and her Master of Science in Childhood Education, with a concentration in Special Education, at CUNY Brooklyn College. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2006 from CUNY Brooklyn College. She has been honored with inclusion in the National Honor Roll. In five years, Ms. Vega aspires to obtain her Ph.D. and teach at a higher grade level.
