ROCKVILLE, MD / ATLANTA, GA, September 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlantic Link has won the 2009 Top Simulation and Training Up and Coming (Yellow) Ribbon Award which will be released within the next publication of the Military Training and Technology publication, from the KMI Group www.MT2-kmi.com
This is the 8th Annual Top Simulation and Training Companies awards list which highlights companies that have made a significant impact in the military e-learning and training throughout the current fiscal year; whether it is in flight simulation, rapid e-learning authoring, advanced distributed learning, server based collaboration, visual systems, embedded training, targets and ranges, database modeling or any other e-learning training component.
"We are pleased and honored to win yet another award, especially from the Military Training Group. I'm convinced that part of this award is due to the advanced e-learning projects we've completed for the DOD and recently with the U.S. Army ATEC. For those projects, we've converted legacy Authorware content and republished the material into robust and scalable e-learning solutions with Atlantic Link's development tool Content Point. This is our 13th industry award in the last few years, which is a great testament to the power and depth of our collaborative rapid e-learning software," said Mark Sharp, VP, North American Operations.
The decisions and winners were based on the information submitted to the editorial board and a select panel of independent e-learning experts from the Military Training Technology Group. The companies were selected based on key e-learning criteria, which in part includes military e-learning specialists, military sales, military training and end-user feedback, innovations and the need for a complete collaborative e-learning solution. Those that have made the most significant contributions to the training community will be recognized with achievement award ribbons in the future.
The 2009 Military Top Simulation and Training Companies included 1,300 training companies that were notified. Of those notified - only 85 companies were selected to be included in the listing... Atlantic Link being chosen as one of the winners.
