Employment Law Expert Barbara K. Letcher Added to Registry's Roster

Barbara K. Letcher earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1990 and her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Professions from The Ohio State University in 1979. She is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law and is a frequent lecturer on issues pertaining to employment law. She counsels employers with respect to human resources issues and compliance with state and federal labor laws. Her practice encompasses all aspects of employment law and she also has considerable experience representing insurers and businesses in insurance coverage disputes. Barbara represents employers in civil litigation in both state and federal courts in Ohio and has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Unemployment Compensation Review Commission, and the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Barbara has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer for Labor and Employment Law by Law & Politics magazine. She is a former adjunct professor at TheOhio State University Moritz College of Law, teaching appellate advocacy.

Barbara is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Ohio Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio. Barbara has served on the boards of the Stadium Scholarship Dormitory Alumni Society and The Ohio State University Student Loan Foundation and is a past president of both boards.
