ISACA West Florida Chapter CPE Event: IT Management Framework Sponsored by Integrated Solutions Management

(ISM) today announced that it will be sponsoring the upcoming ISACA West Florida Chapter CPE class on November 12, 2009 at the Centre Club West Shore in Tampa, FL. The focus of this continuing education event for IT governance and auditing professionals is the Framework for IT SuccessSM, commonly known as Fritz .

Fritz is the first IT framework that identifies, details, and integrates all of the business processes required to run IT as if it were a standalone business. The day will be divided into two sessions. The first session -- IT Management Framework to Improve Organizational Performance and Governance -- will introduce the Framework for IT SuccessSM, discuss how to use Fritz to support and improve the IT Audit and Information Security disciplines, and, leveraging the framework, discuss best practices for securing virtualized environments consisting of servers, desktops, data storage, and principles of Cloud Computing.

The second session -- Effective Auditing Techniques in a Virtual Environment - will build on the first session and outline the fundamentals of virtualization, detail how virtualization audits differ from physical audits, and explain how Fritz can help establish an effective virtualized audit methodology.
