CARLSBAD, NM, October 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Carlsbad Department of Development will demonstrate the reason Carlsbad and Eddy County, New Mexico is a great place for business during the 2009 ICSC Texas Conference and Deal Making expo.
"We attended last year's event as participants and made some very good contacts," said Jeff Campbell, Marketing Director for the Carlsbad Department of Development (CDOD). "This is the year we are taking action by hosting booth #122 in Exhibit Hall A. Our goal is to show attendees why Carlsbad, New Mexico is the best place to do business."
Thousands of people representing business, industry, investors, and other organizations are expected to participate in the 2009 Texas Conference and Deal Making expo hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) November 2-4, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.
"Whether manufacturing or retail, there are many reasons a business would prosper in Carlsbad. Our community has fantastic opportunities for any business looking to expand into a new market." Campbell also noted the Carlsbad area has a lower cost of living than most of the country. "Our industrial park is ideally suited for manufacturing and light industrial production. Our open air market village, the Cascades at Carlsbad, would be of interest to retail and restaurant companies as well as developers searching for a healthy real estate market."
