Jennifer L. Burgett Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Registry

    OVERLAND PARK, KS, November 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennifer L. Burgett, Quality Audit Program Manager for the Quality Management Services Department of Black & Veatch Holding Company, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of quality assurance.

Now approaching her third year as Quality Audit Program Manager, Jennifer L. Burgett brings over two decades of relevant professional experience to Black & Veatch Holding Company, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company. A United States Air Force reservist and former teacher, Ms. Burgett possesses a broad perspective that allows her to effectively oversee two auditors, train and certify lead auditors, and ensure quality and work flow. Additionally, she is responsible for performing GAP analysis and collaborating with engineering and project management teams. Recognized for her motivation and professional dedication, Ms. Burgett is encouraged to become the next Director of the Quality Department at Black & Veatch.

Ms. Burgett serves in the United States Air Force as the Director of Staff for the 442nd Fighter Wing. She is also a major, having served for nearly three decades. After active duty from the Air Force, she gained experience in quality audit, GAP analysis and applied standardized processes at Honeywell. She also worked as a middle school teacher, responsible for 72 students on a daily basis. During her tenure at the urban school, she facilitated a sharp rise in previously low reading scores.

Ms. Burgett holds a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University and a master's degree in Liberal Arts from Baker University. A Certified Quality Auditor by the American Society for Quality, Ms. Burgett was requested to present at the 18th Annual ASQ Audit Conference.
