ROCKVILLE, MD, November 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rafael L. Rodriguez, Project Manager at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nuclear regulation.

As a project manager at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Mr. Rodriguez is responsible for licensing projects for nuclear fuel fabrication facilities. Previously, he worked for two years in the areas of environmental safety and quality assurance in the private sector. He attributes his success to the discipline instilled in him by his parents.

Mr. Rodriguez received his Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2007 and his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico in 2000. He is a member of the College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is also the recipient of the 2009 Luminary Award from the Hispanic Engineers National Achievement Awards Conference. He hopes to attain a senior or managerial position.
