Merlene Hutto Byars Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

    CAYCE-WEST COLUMBIA, SC, November 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Merlene Hutto Byars, President of Merlene Hutto Byars Enterprise, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

With 20 years of overall professional experience, Ms. Byars is a well known published author of 11 books on history and her family genealogy, and also has over 30 manuscripts published in the USC library. She is an artist, writer, publisher, historian and genealogist. She became involved in her profession because of the motivation and inspiration she received from her mother.

Ms. Byars received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and completed accounting coursework at Wingate University in Charlotte, NC. She was certified by the University of South Carolina's College of Journalism and she holds diplomas in journalism from International Correspondence Schools in Scranton, PA and the Long Ridge Writers Group in West Redding, Connecticut. Ms. Byars is a fellow of the University of South Carolina's Caroliniana Library Society, a member of the Heritage Foundation and a life member of the University of South Carolina's Alumni Association.
