BOYD GAMING EXECUTIVE ELLIS LANDAU HONORED

    /24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, March 27, 2006 - Ellis Landau, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Boyd Gaming will be honored as "Man of the Year 2006" at a Gala dinner celebration on Sunday, May 21st at the Stardust Hotel.

"It's a tradition to honor someone whose generosity has affected not just Temple Beth Sholom, but the entire community. Ellis Landau not only exemplifies this tradition, he has been an inspiration," said Sandy Mallin, TBS Past President and Gala Chair.

As EVP and CFO of Boyd Gaming, Landau has been supportive of important causes and institutions in and beyond the Las Vegas community. A past board member of Temple Beth Sholom, Ellis was instrumental in relocating the Temple from Oakey Blvd. to its current facility in Summerlin, focusing mainly on financial matters which he continues to do for the Temple.

Ellis and his wife, Yvette, are founders of the Temple's Warsaw Memorial Garden, members of the board of the Anti-Defamation League and sponsors of its "No Place for Hate" program. Ellis also supports his alma mater, Brandeis University, United Jewish Philanthropies of Las Vegas and the United Way of Southern Nevada.

Landau has been Boyd Gaming's Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in 1990. He has been responsible for the acquisition of capital and dealing with the company's debt and equity investors. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Treasurer of Ramada, Inc., which is now Aztar Corporation. Early in his career, he held financial positions with U-Haul International and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
