PULBOROUGH, ENGLAND, November 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bringing customer service to the top of the company's business priorities, South East Labels held its 2009 Product Update Day in early November, with the end result being informed and in-tune staff across the board. As part of the general business strategy to enhance the customer experience and hit the nail exactly on the head every time when it comes to pairing a customer with a printing product, the technical team at South East Labels came together with the sales team to ensure that one and all were privy to the latest information in labels and labelling supplies. An industry leader for the supply and manufacture of a range of printing and imaging products, South East Labels has a wealth of experience in the industry, backed up by over two decades of practical sales and technical expertise.
The Product Update Day focused on three key areas for future sales. The first, a Toshiba product session, covered the basics of supplying Toshiba TEC label printers, outlining the technical and specific features of each model, and drawing attention to which were more suited for desktop printing and which were better off for industrial clients. In general, Toshiba TEC label printers are ideal for the mass printing of barcodes and long print runs for a variety of professional purpose labels. The next session ran as a double treatment of the Opticom range, with the first being dedicated to Opticom scanning, and the second delving into the business possibilities of Opticom Mobile labelling equipment. All three topics were intended to provide up-to-date product knowledge and a precise understanding of the workings of some of the feature products distributed amongst the South East Labels product line.
As a strategy for the modern operations of any company, product update days are of vital importance. These sessions are targeted at staff working in the customer support or sales departments, and aim to improve the workload of those involved with day-to-day interactions with customers. Not only are well informed staff better equipped to deal with any technical or commercial queries posed by the customers, but from the business side of things it pays to have staff that are able to recommend a more profitable usage for the company's products. In the case of the UK-based South East Labels, this wide product range includes polyester, waterproof and vinyl labels, as well as the more traditional plain and printed labels, inkjet labels, and heat-related products such as hot foil, thermal transfers, and thermal direct labels.
