Manju Misra Recognized for Excellence in Teaching

Manju Misra celebrates 30 years in the education field



    ISELIN, NJ, January 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Manju Misra, Lead Science Teacher for Newark Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

As a lead science teacher, Ms. Misra teaches science to kindergarten through eighth-grade students and attends to students in the laboratory. She always desired to become a teacher and influence others, and she attributes her success to her responsibility, passion, hard work and to the appreciation she receives from her students and their parents.

Ms. Misra received her master's degree in education and her bachelor's degree in science in India. She serves on the School Leadership Team, is a Robotics coach, is the Coordinator of the National Junior Honor Society, Co-coordinator of the Student Council and is a member of the National Education Association.
