All entries to the Summit Creative Awards were reviewed and scored by a panel of fifteen judges representing many of today's top creative agencies worldwide. "When I saw a good spot, I could actually see the guys who made it. Their eyes full of passion, their creative integrity and above all their conviction and commitment toward superlative communication," said Saurabh Dasgupta. Mr. Dasgupta, one of the judges in this year's competition, is head of the creative team at Innocean Worldwide in India. "Contrary to how I felt just before starting my charge, the wheat separated itself from the chaff and the winners emerged from the sea of entries effortlessly," he said.
The twelve-year-old competition has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative excellence. Using rigorous evaluative criteria, this unique competition rewards those firms truly deserving of special recognition. Submissions are evaluated based on the strength of their idea, the quality of execution and the ability to persuade.
Winners benefit from the recognition earned from the Summit Awards. Among other things, winning helps with new business acquisition, client stabilization and team cohesiveness. In addition to media exposure, winners also receive a free microsite on the Summit Awards website. This earned benefit, unique in the awards business, brings winners increased inquiries and attention.
The Summit Creative Awards limits entrants by billings. The competition is open to advertising and public relations agencies; advertisers and in-house marketing departments; video production and multimedia agencies; graphic designers; and other creative companies with annual billings of less than $25 million.
