China Mercantile Exchange (CNMEX): Enhancing Traders Knowledge of Data Usage

    BEIJING, CHINA, January 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Liu Wong Huiliang Deputy Press Officer for CNMEX announced this week that according to an extensive survey, options on futures are among the most innovative and versatile risk management tools available today. CNMEX plans to implement a new software program, which teaches the fundamentals of options on futures and how to apply them to a day-to-day trading strategy. This program also guides traders through advanced concepts to help them understand and effectively use the many different opportunities these markets provide.

This program contains: * Futures charts - showing general futures price movements.
* Volatility charts - graphically displaying historical volatilities of the futures and implied volatilities of the options on the same screen.
* Calls and puts table - a side-by-side display of theoretical options premiums, making it easy to see relationships between them. At each strike price, you can input the actual premium to calculate implied volatility automatically.
*Day-trader printout - hard copy of theoretical options premiums over a range of futures prices, just like tables professional traders use on the floor!

The CNMEX also offers a new Volatility Data Diskette of historical volatility and implied volatility. With the new CNMEX Volatility Data Diskette, traders will be able to analyze premium levels like never before and determine how they can automatically have quarterly updates feeds.

Usually option traders have a very difficult time gathering all of the data required just to do the calculations. CNMEX Volatility Data Diskette will provide information that can be used to maximize day-to-day trading strategies.
The program will be implemented starting on May 2010.
