More Creativity, More Freedom PHYZIOS Studio Pro Beta Available on Mac

    TOKYO, JAPAN, January 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On January 21st, Phyzios, Inc. released a beta version of PHYZIOS Studio Pro, which enables you to handle highly complicated physics simulation. This beta version is available for free for the next 30 days (through February 21st) only on Mac. The Windows version will be released soon.

PHYZIOS Studio is a web-based application in which you can enjoy art scene creation and games (both gameplay and level design) in a physically simulated environment and share those artworks and games with other users around the world. This application is an upgraded version of "OE-Cake!" that was well-received at GDC in 2008 and hit more than 80,000 downloads. Its iPhone version, PHYZIOS Studio for iPhone, ranked 9th among free applications in Japan.

PHYZIOS Studio Pro is a client application which enables you to experience highly complicated physical simulation including the following functions.

1. Customizable Materials
You can add multiple characteristics to one material to create your own materials.

2. Variable Resolution
By changing resolution of particles and the screen, you can create simulation movies of various sizes.

2.1. Screen Resolution
By changing the screen resolution, you can control the size of simulation area.

2.2. Particle Resolution
You can also freely change resolution of particles.

Low: The more you reduce the number of particles used in the screen, the more the simulation becomes.
Medium: Using smaller particles provides more detailed simulation.
High: Using further smaller particles provides further more detailed simulation.
