MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, February 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People using accommodation in Melbourne will have the chance to see The Prodigy live in concert next month.
As well as being one of the headline acts for the Future Music Festival, the dance music giants have scheduled a one-off performance at Melbourne's Hisense Arena on Thursday March 4th.
With support provided by the up-and-coming UK band Does It Offend You Yeah?, the gig promises to be a memorable occasion for music fans visiting the Victoria city.
Formed by Liam Howlett in Essex in 1990, The Prodigy have enjoyed a long career at the forefront of British dance music thanks to the mainstream success of rave anthems such as Voodoo People, Firestarter and Out of Space.
The group's albums regularly feature in best-ever polls, while the high-octane style of frontmen Keith Flint and Maxim Reality has seen them build a reputation as a hugely exciting live act.
Tickets for the show are available from $101.40 (GBP55).
With a seating capacity of 10,500, the Hisense Arena is one of Melbourne's top sporting and entertainment venues.
The building is situated in Melbourne Park and contains a 250-metre cycling track, as well as a fully retractable roof.
