CHICAGO, IL, February 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- NELA/Illinois announces the election of its officers and board of directors for the calendar years 2010-2012 as follows:
Alejandro Caffarelli - President
Antoinette Choate - Vice President
Catherine Caporusso - Secretary
Elizabeth Hubbard - Treasurer
Megan O'Malley - Immediate Past President
The remaining board members are: Kristin Case, R. Peter Carey, Matthew Lango, David Lee, Mary Rose Strubbe, Lisa G. Williams and J. Bryan Wood. Penny Nathan Kahan and Michael Leech also serve as founding members of the board.
Immediate past president Megan O'Malley said: "It has been a pleasure to serve all of our members and this amazing organization as President these last two years. I look forward to the continued successes we have collectively achieved for NELA/Illinois and in furtherance of the rights of employees." President Alejandro Caffarelli said: "Over the past 25 years, NELA/Illinois has grown to become the leading association of lawyers in Illinois dedicated to representing employees. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead us into the new decade, so that we may continue leveling the playing field for workers across the state."
