The Nerd Buster, however, represents a vast improvement over traditional pocket protector supports (hence the product name), and is uniquely designed to discretely support an identification badge, and/or a decorative or service award pin. Despite its minimal profile, the Nerd Buster securely retains the badge and allows easy removal for use in magnetic card readers or visual inspection.

The web site was developed and is supported by CheckEngine USA (www.checkengineusa.com), a web development company based in Superior Township, Michigan, that specializes in fully-accessible, standards-compliant websites and online content.

The Nerd Buster includes slender pockets on the front and back of the support that allow the wearer to easily carry business cards, a small calendar, or other notes alongside the badge. This allows the Nerd Buster to be used as a "grab and go" package throughout the work day.
